Official Christmas SOPs Are Here: Here’s What You Need To Know
You’re still allowed to visit your family members during the holiday season.

The National Security Council has recently come up with the SOPs throughout the Christmas period.
Based on reports from Malay Mail, while large-scale events are not allowed for both Christmas and New Year’s, small private functions are still allowed, provided that those who attend must test themselves for Covid-19.
Here’s what you need to know:
Implementation date: 24 December (Christmas Eve) and 25 December (Christmas Day)
Prayer ceremonies: allowed according to the Opening of Non-Muslim Houses of Worship SOPs.
Choirs: allowed by practicing physical distancing of not less than one meter and wearing a face mask or face shield.
Visiting family members: allowed only for complete vaccine recipients
Choir singing ceremony (caroling) from house to house: not allowed
Christmas stalls: subject to the approval and control of the Local Authority
