Recently, rumors have spread that Tan Sri Lim Kok Wing had passed away in Pantai Hospital Bangsar, following a bout of Covid-19 that landed him in the ICU.
Despite how specific the rumours were, it seems that Lim Kok Wing does not have Covid-19 and is not dead.
A press release issued by Limkokwing University notes that he is merely recuperating in hospital after a fall in his house. His condition is said to be stable and he is not at risk of death.
The press release was signed by Vice-President of Limkokwing University, Datuk Gail Phung, who also expressed that Lim Kok Wing should be given complete privacy to rest and recuperate.
