Sultan Johor Warns That State Assembly May Dissolve If Turmoil Continues

The Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Ismail ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, has warned that he may dissolve the State Assembly immediately if the a power struggle among representatives there continues.
In a post on his official Facebook account, Sultan Ibrahim expresses his disappointment with the ongoing political turmoil in the state.
He also criticised the power hungry politicians who are eager to capitalise on their self-interests during these dire times.
They clearly have no regard for the hardship being faced by the rakyat now, and seem bent on exacerbating the sufferings of the people. I cannot stand seeing my rakyat suffer. I will not allow my state to be in disarray. I took an oath to protect and safeguard the wellbeing of my subjects at all times. If the politicking goes on, I will immediately dissolve the Johor State Legislative Assembly.
