Dance Crew Zeppo Youngsterz Makes Malaysia Proud At US Body Rock Dance Competition

A Malaysian dance crew known as Zeppo Youngsterz has made the country proud when they were crowned champion of the 2023 Body Rock dance competition which took place in San Diego, California.

Zeppo Youngsterz is the first and so far, only dance crew to represent Malaysia in the competition. They had to face various professional dance crews from the Philippines, Germany, Canada, and Mexico, among others.
The band of youngsters adopted the hip-hop style of dance in their routine, incorporating martial arts elements.

Before this amazing achievement, they came in third 3rd at the 2022 Super 24 open category finals and at the 2020 Body Rock Asia.

He mentioned that the dance group faced some financial troubles when they wanted to travel to San Diego.
They reached out to the public through crowdfunding to get the funds needed for their journey.
They released a video on their Instagram page stating that they needed help from the public and their supporters helped make it happen.
The Body Rock Dance competition, established in the year 2000, is considered to be one of the most prestigious dance competitions internationally.
This is the show that inspired other famous dance shows such as “World of Dance” and “America’s Best Dance Crew”.
Zeppo Youngsterz’s win proves that with passion and hard work, the sky is the limit.
