Back by popular demand, KTMB’s MySawasdee ride is again available for special Thailand trips this December!

This time, they’re not just offering one trip but three direct RM75 train rides from KL Sentral to Hat Yai.

Usually, KTMB does not offer straight train rides from KL Sentral to Hat Yai. They only have trains to Padang Besar and tourists would have to wait for Thailand’s SRT train there or get to Hat Yai via minivans or taxis.

But KTMB does have special promotions sometimes that’ll take you straight from KL Sentral to Hat Yai and the tickets are way cheaper.

MySawasdee December Mania

This December, MySawasdee trains are offering three round trips from KL Sentral to Hat Yai and back. These trips are available on 9, 23 and 30 December 2022. So plan your short vacation wisely!

On these trips, you do not have to exchange trains but, you do have to alight for a moment at the Padang Besar station for passport checks by the Malaysian and Thailand immigration.

The ticket is priced as low as RM75 for a one-way trip so you have to pay twice if you want a return trip. If you want a different coach, like the ones with the bed and the cafe, they are priced differently too. You can check the prices once the tickets go live at 3.00 pm today.

Apart from KL Sentral, you can also board the MySawasdee train at the stations in Kuala Lumpur, Tanjung Malim, Ipoh, Taiping or Padang Besar. The ticket price is the same for both adults and children.

Additionally, meals and tour packages are not included in the ticket price.
