Water Cut In Several Areas In Selangor And Kuala Lumpur Due To Broken Pipe, Says Air Selangor

Water will be cut for several areas in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur due to a broken pipe incident has occurred at Jalan Lingkaran Tengah 2 (MRR2), KL.
Air Selangor said on social media today that to ensure that the pipe repair work can be carried out, the water supply was closed at 11:30 this morning, 9 November 2021.
Here are the areas:
- Kampung Cheras Baru
- Pandan Mewah
- Taman Bukit Pandan
- Taman Bukit Permai
- Taman Bukit Teratai
- Taman Mawar
- Taman Mega
- Taman Melur
- Taman Mestika
- Taman Muda
- Taman Putra
- Taman Saga
- Taman Seraya
They also mentioned in a statement that repair works are expected to be completed at 11:30 am, 10 November 2021 and consumers will be receiving their water supply in stages once the repair works have been implemented.
Air Selangor will be mobilising water tankers to the affected areas, with priority given to critical premises such as hospitals, dialysis centres as well as funeral services. Consumers are required to adhere to physical distancing and to wear a face mask at all time while collecting water supply from the water tankers.
