School Teacher Accidentally Drove Into Gemas Petrol Station And Destroyed Store

A school teacher accidentally drove through the glass doors at a petrol station in Batu 1, Jalan Batu Anam, near Gemas yesterday afternoon (28 July).

In the 3.30pm incident, the 30-year-old man was trying to adjust the car’s position at the petrol pump when he accidentally stepped on the accelerator pedal.

His Proton Saga lurched forward and rammed the glass doors of the convenience store at the Petronas station.

According to Harian Metro, the car hit another man who was shopping in the store. The victim escaped with minor injuries while some parts of the shop were damaged.

Tampin police chief Superintendent Anuwal Ab Wahab said a police report has been lodged and an investigation paper is opened following Rule 10 LN 166/59.
