If you’re an avid user of online grocery shopping apps, then hey! Kudos! It makes life easier, right?

Especially if you use HappyFresh (HF). But do you know there’s an easier and cheaper way to buy the same groceries?

HappyFresh supermarket offers competitive prices with free deliveries (permanently)!

Starting in early 2022, HappyFresh Supermarket is another option of vendors for customers to choose from when they shop with HappyFresh.

With this, they have more assortment of products (which means no Out-of-stock moments) with the best qualities to ship directly to your doorstep. You can guarantee that your produce will the freshest as they have trained personal shoppers picking those up for you.

Our supermarkets are all about consistency and reliability, offering quality and great value for money.

Not only that, but they also offer free delivery wherever you are, permanently! Far or near, you don’t have to worry about the costs of distance anymore.

Here’s How They Work

Currently, they actually have 7 dark stores covering 93% of the Klang Valley. Those stores are mainly in Batu Caves, Setia Alam, Petaling Jaya, Klang, Bangsar, Ampang, and also Kajang. They’re like warehouses only for product deliveries, and not accessible to users.

Those stores are big and clean warehouses filled with around 15,000 stock keeping units (SKUs) of fresh, dry and frozen products in their inventory within three closely monitored temperatures.

So when you open the HappyFresh App wherever you are in the Klang Valley, there will be a bunch of grocery merchants to choose from, including the HF Supermarket.

So just choose the nearest supermarket to you and order your desired products across a wide range of grocery selections. Once you’ve paid, trained personal shoppers (or their riders who are also trained to pick out the freshest products) will get your order and will pick the products carefully at the warehouse.

Then, it’s just time for them to pack them into a specialised box or cold packaging and deliver them to you for free.

With the inflation and all, they pity the rakyat

As they are targeting the millennials who just started their families and also those working professionals, they know their consumers are more price and product conscious now, especially with the inflation going on. Everything is getting more expensive!

Thus, to help customers with the rising inflation and cost of living, they come up with their mid-year HappyFresh Supermarket promotion campaign called ‘Cheapest In Town’ with discounts of up to 60% off items until September.

So customers can get all their necessary groceries for their families at cheap prices, hassle-free and all online.

Johan Antlov, Chief Growth Officer of HappyFresh said that Happy Fresh doesn’t want people to think so much about daily chores such as grocery shopping.

You can just skip all the burdensome queuing, parking, heavy grocery lifting and just have them delivered to you, in the comfort of your own home. No stress on prices, no stress on physical shopping.

Our vision is actually to just simplify people’s lives. As simple as that.

The second phase of the supermarket expansion in Malaysia will be in areas of Johor and Penang in the future. Don’t worry, if they’re not there at your place yet, rest assured that they’ll still be coming. It’s just a matter of when.
