We announced recently that local singer Yuna was set to perform in Kuching on 27 October. As part of her Yuna Asia Tour, the 36-year-old was going to serenade fans at the Hikmah Exchange in Sarawak’s capital city.

Unfortunately, fans will have to wait a little longer to see their favourite idol as the concert has been postponed to a later date.

Concert organisers RK Liveasia confirmed the news on their Instagram page, citing unforeseen circumstances as the reason.

“Hey guys, due to unforeseen circumstances, the show will be rescheduled to a later date. All tickets purchased are valid for the new date and refund options are available as well. Do stay tuned for more updates,” said the company.

The upcoming concert was meant to mark the singer’s first time performing in Sarawak. She had only previously performed in Klang Valley.

The concert was also meant as a celebration of her recent album entitled, Y5. Though, of course, she was also going to serenade fans with classics like Hello, Dan Sebernarnya, Rescue, and Terukir Di Bintang.

The new date for the concert has to be announced but fans are advised to stay tuned for more updates.

Malaysian Sam Smith?

Speaking of music, Yuna’s concert postponement is not the only thing local music fans have been talking about. Local singer Aizat Amdan’s recent appearance at a concert has made fans worried.

As seen in this TikTok clip by @ariaputerakamal, the singer is seen sporting a whole new look. Contrary to his previous appearances, Aizat was wearing a short t-shirt and flashy white pants that looked like a waistband.

And contrary to his previous black hairdo, Aizat was rocking a silver fox hairstyle and had shiny nails. Netizens were surprised by the changes and labelled him the Malaysian Sam Smith for his fashion resemblance to the English singer.

This is because Smith has been known for his controversial dressing sense. Compared to other male Western singers, Smith’s fashion sense has been gravitating towards a more flamboyant style of clothing.

But what do you think about Aizat’s recent appearance? Do you like it and think fans are just overreacting? Or do you agree with them?
