Last week, a Twitter user Shafiqah Othman (@sfqomhz) tweeted about Alamin Khan, the friendly 7-Eleven employee at Jalan Bazar, Bukit Jelutong.
Unsurprisingly, other customers shared the same sentiments and had lots of praise for the extremely good service by Alamin.
Othman recently shared an update in her LinkedIn to share her happiness that Alamin has been rewarded by 7-Eleven for never failing to make sure customers leave the store with a smile.
On 9 November, delegates from 7-Eleven went down to the particular branch to acknowledge and congratulate Alamin’s efforts at work.
The Facebook post by Kamarudzaman Sanusi showed Alamin beaming with his rewards.
Based on the pictures, it looks like Alamin was rewarded with a certificate of appreciation and a bag of goodies.
Netizens joined in the congratulations and shared that everyone should show appreciation to employees more.

Alamin also replied to the comment above, writing “Thank you so much mam but I miss you today. I hope that you’re [with us]”

Amidst the sudden fame, Alamin thanked Shafiqah Othman for tweeting about him in the first place.
“Thank you so much for appreciating my work and really I am so happy to see your tweet about me. You are the best and [because of] you, I got [a] certificate from 7-Eleven that I am the hero off 7-Eleven now,” he wrote on Facebook.
