According to recent reports, Malaysia’s FF series license plate bidding activity has garnered much attention, with intense competition driving up prices.
The highest bid for the FF9 license plate had reached a staggering RM 909,999, with the bidder reportedly being a young, attractive woman.
Other license plates that have received high bids include FF555, which had the highest bid of RM 70,555 as of last night.
The bidding price of another Chinese-favourite license plate, FF168, is also competitive.
Netizens pointed out that as of 10:33 last night, the highest bidding price for this license plate was RM38,000.
In addition, as of last night, netizens also provided the highest bids for FF license plates of other numbers.
The biddings included RM58,000 for FF12, RM35,000 for FF37, RM35,600 for FF24, RM113,000 for FF89, and FF26 is RM58,800.
The FF series license plates were launched to commemorate Malaysia’s 77th anniversary of the Road Transport Department (JPJ).
The bidding activity on JPJ eBid was originally scheduled to end at 10 pm on 18 May.
Still, due to technical issues with the electronic bidding system, the deadline has been extended by 24 hours to 19 May at 10 pm.
Many netizens have expressed interest in the bidding activity, particularly for license plates with special numbers.
However, as of now, no information regarding the highest bid for FF1 has been released.
The FF series license plate bidding activity has been highly competitive, with many people vying for these special plates.
