Drivers in Petaling Jaya and also Shah Alam can now use their Touch n Go e-wallet to pay for their parking.
Do note that you can only use the e-wallet app to pay for public parking spots that’s under Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) and Shah Alam City Council (MBSA).
In total, Touch ‘n Go eWallet’s parking feature supports 9 different councils, including Kuala Terengganu, Subang Jaya, Machang, Kota Bharu, Kuala Langat and Putrajaya.
Below are the steps once you’re in the app:
1. Tap the “parking” icon on the homepage
2. Add your vehicle number and description
3. Choose parking location
4. Set parking duration and tap “Pay Parking Now”
5. Enter OTP (For First Time User only)
6. Receive payment confirmation
Besides being able to pay for parking, the app has other features such as notifying users if there’s 15 minutes left and the ability extend the parking time without going to back to your car.
