Texas Chicken Has New Plant-Based Burger For A Meatless Option

Nowadays, a lot of fast-food restaurants are becoming more environmentally conscious. It’s even predicted that this year, the plant-based food trend will be all over. Yeay, road to sustainability!

This time around, in conjunction with World Environment Day (5 Junel), Texas Chicken is launching their very first Plant-Based Burger.
The burger features a crispy meat-free patty with crunchy tortilla chips. (Their tortilla chips in burgers are worth the try!).
If you’re just in the mood for a nibble, they also have Spicy Nuggets and Tenders available in their new menu, all Plant-Based.
However, please be advised that their Plant-Based meals are not vegan or vegetarian, just as they advertised. This would mean that their meat patties could be fried in the same oil they used for their chicken or prepared with the same cooking equipment as their other meat-based products.

The new burger is available at all Texas Chicken nationwide outlets but only for a limited time so grab them while they’re there!
