Despite a 34-year age difference, a young man from Sabah was not deterred from selecting a 62-year-old woman as his life companion all due to their love for each other.
In a TikTok video that has since gone viral, @mohammadaminrokiahfamli posted a video showcasing the love between the couple.

According to the video, the couple began getting acquainted on October 21, 2021, and subsequently, the then 26-year-old Mohammad Amin Jumdail, made the decision to travel to the Peninsular to meet Rokiah Samat for the first time.
After several months of getting to know each other, the young man proposed in June 2022 which eventually led to the couple tying the knot in September 2022.
Additionally, the video also noted that Rokiah, who is originally from Kelantan, already has 11 children, 22 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Since going viral, the TikTok video not only gained over 2 million views but also prompted diverse reactions from netizens.
Generally, many extended their congratulations to the couple and wished them happiness while some individuals also shared their own experiences related to age gaps in their own relationships in the comments section.
