The FF1 Number Plate Belongs To Johor Sultan
Sultan Ibrahim Iskandar bid RM1.2 million for the vehicle number plate and it’s the highest value collected for the FF series of number plates.

Transport Minister Anthony Loke recently presented the FF 1 number plate to Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Iskandar, who now owns the unique number plate.
His Majesty paid the government RM1.2 million for the highly coveted number plate.
Loke said it was the highest value ever collected by the government for a vehicle number plate.
He added that this payment brings the total government revenue from the FF series number plates to RM35.4 million.
The FF series number plates were launched in conjunction with the Road Transport Department’s 77th anniversary.
It drew a competitive bidding spree for several number plates such as FF8, FF9, FF199, FF51, FF155, FF555 and FF1688.
A businesswoman, Ivon Wong, also made the news by bidding RM909,999 for the FF9 number plate.

On 22 May, Loke said the series reached a record-high collection of RM34.29 million.
