The English version of the maternity procedure available on the official website of the Sungai Buloh Hospital was the result of the “system’s auto translation”.
The Rakyat Post reached out to the hospital for comments following a social media share yesterday in which the poorly written text was highlighted.
A spokesperson from the Public Relation’s department of the Sungai Buloh Hospital said the website’s English version is still under maintenance and that their main website is in Bahasa Melayu.
The English version of several sections, including “Procedure For Maternity” was an automatic translation by the system which is why it contained various errors.
The spokesperson informed that they have now disabled the English section of the website until it is fully ready to go live with legitimate and accurate information.
For those who want to obtain information regarding the hospital, they can do so via the Bahasa Melayu version.
