KL Takes On Water Again As Thunderstorms Expected To Last The Evening
Several major roads in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor were with flash floods following a heavy downpour.

Today’s thunderstorm that hit all over the country is expected to last till 7pm tonight, said the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia).
The latest forecast was announced by the department, at 3.55pm today, via Twitter.

Meanwhile, several major roads in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor were hit with flash floods following a heavy downpour.
These include from Kepong to Damansara, Jalan Kuchai Lama and the Semantan intersection causing traffic jam from Taman Duta.

MetMalaysia had also warned Malaysians to expect flash floods occurrence up to November as the country is experiencing a transitional phase of the monsoon.
During the transition, the department said that thunderstorms and heavy rain with strong winds often occur for a short time in the evening to the early night.
