While he managed to recover and resume his world tour in Europe, the singer said exhaustion overtook him after performing six live shows and giving his all at Rock in Rio, Brazil this past weekend.

I realized that I need to make my health the priority right now. So I’m going to take a break from touring for the time being. I’m going to be ok, but I need time to rest and get better.

Justin Bieber said in a message on Instagram

He also thanked all his fans for their support and prayers and closed the announcement writing, “I love you all passionately!”

According to Malay Mail, Bieber did not state when he might return to the stage, and his publicists did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Bieber’s world tour was previously postponed earlier this year due to Bieber and members of his team testing positive for Covid-19.

The world tour was finally launched in March with 70 shows set to run until March 2023 in South America, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Europe.
