Bangkok, Phuket And Phnom Penh Next For VTL Programme, Says KJ

Good news for travellers as the government has decided to add more destinations into the air vaccinated travel lane (VTL) programme soon.
Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin Abu Bakar tweeted that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob made the announcement during his official visit to Thailand and Cambodia recently.
Further announcement on the subject will be made by Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong, said Khairy.
“As announced by PM@IsmailSabri60 during his visit to Thailand & Cambodia, we will be starting VTL flights to/from Bangkok, Phuket & Phnom Penh very soon. @weekasiongmp will be providing details.” the Rembau MP tweeted.

The Penang International Airport (PIA) – Changi International Airport (CIA) VTL programme is expected to commence by mid-March while travellers had enjoyed quarantine free entry to and from Kuala Lumpur International Airport and the CIA since 29 November last year.
