The award-winning DoubleTree Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup is a standout on the menu, a dish that has garnered international acclaim.

It recently achieved third place at the acclaimed 2023 Taipei International Beef Noodle Soup Competition, underscoring Chef Wang’s prowess in the kitchen.

Lavish Spreads Blend Taiwanese and Local Favors

DoubleTree Kuala Lumpur has curated a contemporary yet authentic Lunar New Year experience deeply rooted in tradition by fusing Taiwanese influences with local customs.

A series of lavish buffets, specially curated by Chef Wang, blend classic Taiwanese flavour profiles with fresh regional ingredients.

The weekend High Tea Buffet, running every Saturday and Sunday from 4 February to 26 February, from 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM (RM148 adult, RM74 child), offers highlights like the Yee Sang tossing station with a bountiful seafood bar, 48-hour slow-roasted beef brisket, and Chef Wang’s speciality DoubleTree Taipei beef broth noodles.

The Prosperity Dinner Buffet, available from 11 February to 29 February, from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM (RM168 adult, RM84 child), spotlights creative dishes like baked miso sea bass with crispy ginger and Chef Wang’s secret recipe Shrimp Balls with pineapple.

Beyond the spread, activities like balloon animals with a skilled clown make the buffets lively for families.
