The G70 BMW i7 premium EV saloon’s availability and official pricing have finally been confirmed by BMW Group Malaysia, after remaining quiet for nearly a year since it was privately showcased to consumers locally, as reported by Cari Carz.

Along with the recently unveiled new BMW 750e xDrive variations and the New BMW X7 xDrive40i Pure Excellence this year, the new All-Electric BMW i7 debuts in the M Sport variant and is one of the most recent models launched by the premium automaker for the BMW 7 Series lineup.

When it come to design, the BMW has never failed to deliver. The new i7 introduces the new BMW design aesthetic for the luxury market, known as Forwardism.

The split BMW Iconic Glow crystal headlights and the impressively illuminated kidney grille frame establish the premium sedan’s unmistakable presence, which is complimented with top-notch amenities and a posh atmosphere.

BMW is always known for their performance, and this vehicle proves why the brand has a nickname which is “the driver’s car”.

The variation name and suffix of this i7 model accurately describe its dual-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) configuration.

Through the latter, the former generates 544 HP and 795 NM, enabling a 0-100 KM/H time of just 4.7 seconds. Regarding distance, BMW Group Malaysia boasts WLTP numbers of up to 600 KM.

The i7’s large 101.7 kWh lithium-ion battery pack is largely responsible for its quick speed and range. In addition to 11 kW of conventional AC charging, this battery also accepts inputs of up to 195 kW of DC fast charging, the latter of which provides 10-80% charges in under 50 minutes.

The new All-Electric BMW i7 xDrive 60 can be purchased using the Straight Line Financing Plan from BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia with monthly payments starting at RM8,401 (based on estimates of an 80% loan on a seven-year tenure).

Buyers also have the opportunity to grab the full BMW Group Malaysia Premium Ownership package which includes a BMW 5-Year Unlimited Mileage Warranty with Free Scheduled Service Programme.

It also comes with BMW Roadside Assistance and Accident Hotline, The BMW Group Loyalty+ Mobile App – BMW Privileges Card, and BMW Service Online.

Now for the question that everyone has been waiting for, the price. The i7 is priced at RM729,800 without insurance.
