[Watch] Foodpanda Rider Praised For Directing Traffic In Kepong During Power Outage

The major power outage across cities in Peninsular Malaysia yesterday (27 July) shocked many people.
The power outage that affected areas such as Kuala Lumpur and as far as Penang has kept some people locked out of the office or getting stuck in elevators.

Despite the temporary setback, the power outage also brought out the kindness of some Malaysians.
A TikTok user Charmaine Pua (@tallpiscesgirl) shared a touching moment when she drove by the junction outside Aeon Mall in Kepong.
With the traffic lights out due to the power outage, a foodpanda rider took it upon himself to direct the traffic near the mall.
His selfless actions helped to keep the traffic running smooth and avoided a long traffic jam. Charmaine thanked the man for helping everyone that day.
Other netizens also reported riders from Grab and Lalamove helping to direct traffic in other areas such as Selayang.
Netizens who saw Charmaine’s video praised the food rider for jumping into action to help.
They said it was a touching sight to see food riders helping strangers in need wherever they were.
