These lucky pets live an enviable life that most people and animals dream of because they get to enjoy the luxury lifestyle.
Local entrepreneur Haliza Maysuri recently went viral for gifting a gold chain worth RM25,980 for her cat named Money.
The gold chain is engraved with the cat’s name and birthday (9 May 2017). Haliza and her husband bought the chain as a gift to show their love for their cat.
The chain’s measurement is customised to suit Money so it can’t be sold or be worn by anyone else. Even if I’m not here anymore, the gold chain is still for Money.

Haliza explained that her business greatly improved ever since she brought Money home. Haliza and her husband bought Money for RM1,800 in 2018 from a pet shop.
Initially, they were only there to buy items for Gora, their black and white Maine Coon but her husband spotted Money and immediately fell in love with the cat.
Money got its name after Haliza asked her followers for name suggestions. One of her followers suggested the iconic name and it stuck. Haliza believes calling the cat ‘Money’ daily will attract money into her life too.
Money the cat also helped to fill the void left by her children who have all grown up and live far away.
Since she treats the cat like her own child, Money has its own room too. Both husband and wife are willing to fly to Bangkok, Thailand every six months just to buy clothes and toys for Money.
They love dressing up Money in beautiful clothes every day. Money is so pampered that she has never once set foot on the floor and goes to a spa every month too. The cat is always carried by Haliza, her husband or a maid whether it’s at home or at the office.
