The short but amusing video only showed the user trying the Mcd 3x Spicy Chicken in one take and getting admitted on an emergency bed in another take.

The TikToker also bemoaned their “downfall” even though they have no history of gastric.

The creator further advised netizens to only try this chicken if you have a high tolerance for spiciness. They also felt nothing at first, but after 30 minutes, things go haywire.

I can normally tolerate the Ayam Gepuk but somehow this one just makes my stomach burn after the meal

The TikToker

‘Ayam Gepuk’ is known to be a very spicy dish to Malaysians. If you can handle that, you should be able to handle others. Theoretically.

One person shared a tip saying “My momma once told me that you should prepare a yoghurt or full cream milk when eating spicy food.”

The creator jokingly replied, “Oh well that explains it. My momma didn’t tell me that”.

Others find the video quite amusing as the TikToker is well-versed with the effects but still gave it a try and ended up in the hospital. One user commented “Sorry, I accidentally laughed.”

The video creator even repliled, “No worries, I’m amused by my situation as well. Even the nurse laughed at me”.

Another person commented that McD shouldnt be blamed as they already put a warning sign on their posters. The video creator explained that they really didn’t blame McD or anything.

Netizens also shared some of their experiences with the McD 3x Spicy Fried Chicken. One described World War II happening in the toilet while another recounted that their bum was burning for 3 days. Ouch.

A lot of people agreed that the chicken was no doubt delicious, but not worthy of a sick stomach.

TRP reached out to McDonald’s Malaysia for a comment regarding the recent string of hospitalizations.

We acknowledge that the Ayam Goreng McD 3X Spicy is notably spicier than the crowd’s favourite Spicy Ayam Goreng McD.

This is because we have intensified the spice level in our Ayam Goreng McD 3X Spicy, using real ingredients including bird’s eye chili (cili padi) and different spices such as capsicum and black pepper.

Thus, we encourage customers to consider their personal tolerance to spicy food before making a purchase or consume the product.

Since its launch in 2019, the Ayam Goreng McD 3X Spicy has become a hit with our customers. Malaysians generally love spicy food, and we hope to continue offering our customers their favourite McDonald’s meals as part of our promise to make delicious feel-good moments easy for everyone.

McDonald’s Malaysia to TRP

McDonald’s also reiterated that the chicken contained no artificial flavours or hazardous enhancers of any kind.

In 2019, when they first released this product, plenty of people also found themselves affected by it, prompting the fast food chain to make a public statement.

Conclusion: The chicken is really really really really 3x spicy!

This goes to show that even people with high tolerance of spiciness could end up in the hospital on RARE cases.
