KL College Student Arrested For Selling Ganja Brownies

The 19-year-old was selling 6 kg of brownies containing marijuana worth RM21,000.

While most people are busy baking kuih raya cookies and brownies, a private college student was allegedly busy baking space brownies.

The 19-year-old was nabbed for allegedly distributing “ganja brownies“. Police confiscated 6 kilogrammes of weed brownies called “brownies khayal” in a raid at Jalan 9, KL last Saturday (25 March) at 5 pm.

As reported by Harian Metro, Acting Kuala Lumpur Police Chief, Deputy Comm Datuk Yahaya Othman said the police arrested a 19-year-old local man and confiscated six kilograms of cake containing marijuana worth RM21,000.

Further investigation found that the suspect did not have a record of past offences. We are currently investigating where he obtained the cannabis.

They believe that he has been actively distributing these brownies for about three months. However, he tested negative for any type of drug.

The suspect was remanded for seven days to assist in the investigation under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
