Starbucks has once again released summertime drinks to quench your thirst during these hot, stuffy days.

The newly released line of flavoured teas promise to be refreshing for all of us once again stuck indoors waiting for the rain to come.

Tea for tea time!

Tea lovers will enjoy the Sunshine Pineapple Oolong and Sunshine Peach Ooling, made with aromatic Teavana Zen Clouds Oolong tea, which is suprisingly light and smooth.

The Sunshine Pineapple Oolong is paired with bits of golden pineapple and features strong floral notes reminiscent of jasmine. Make sure to give it a good swirl and shake before you drink it as most of the pinepple flavours are concentrated near the bottom.

The Sunshine Peach Oolong is similarly fruity but features lightly sweet white peach flavours. Again, do make sure to give the cup a good shake for maximum enjoyment.

Something for chocolate lovers too!

If you’re more fond of chocolatey flavours, Starbucks has got the new Cocoa Golden Tips as well, made with oat milk for a light, dairy-free chocolatey taste.

It’s not the thick rich chocolate drinks that you would normally associate with Starbucks, especially if you usually order their Frappucinos.

The Cocoa Golden Tips is topped with crunchy cocoa bits which are surprisingly not that sweet and instead lend an interesting texture to the otherwise smooth drink.

It certainly is a light, refreshing drink suitable for these hot days but still with a yummy chocolate twist!

The drinks are certainly delicious, but it may be hard to justify the RM19.10 price tag for something so light. But if you’ve got the money to spend and feel like something fresh and new, you can spend your money wherever you want.
