This vehicle has a compact electrically excited synchronous motor (EESM) on each axle and puts out a total of 313 hp along with 494 Nm of torque.

According to BMW, this all-electric vehicle can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 5.6 seconds, however the top speed of the iX1 V-max is limited to 180 km/h electronically in order to preserve the battery life.

A substantial 64.7-kWh battery pack that uses raw materials from sustainably managed raw material powers this powertrain system and offers a maximum travel range of 440 km on a single charge.

The iX1 can go from 10% to 80% in just 29 minutes thanks to its support for DC fast charging rates of up to 130 kW.

Additionally, the iX1 enables standard AC charging at a rate of 11 kW, exactly like other EVs. This makes it perfect for overnight charging at home using a dedicated wallbox charger.

Moreover, the Flexible Fast Charger and a Mode 3 charging cable are included as standard equipment, providing a variety of charging options.

BMW has always emphasised the driving experience and to prove this, the Adaptive M Suspension, which comes standard, automatically adjusts to driving circumstances and driving styles for excellent ride comfort and better long-distance performance.

The iX1 despite being a new launch, still resembles the X1, with a few small modifications.

For instance, the iX1 sports blue-hue trimmings at the exterior sections including the front bumper and grille, side skirts, as well as the rear ‘diffuser’.

However, the addition of the M Sport package equips the iX1 with several sporty features, including the sporty 19-inch M light alloy wheels in double-spoke style, finished in 871 M Bicolour, M badges on both front fenders, M high-gloss Shadowline, and chrome front grille surround with aluminium-finished grille slats.

As for the interior of the car, the iX1 is equipped with the most recent BMW Curved Display layout, which consists of a driver’s display measuring 10.25 inches and a bigger infotainment display measuring 10.7 inches. Both displays run the most recent BMW OS8 and come with BMW Live Cockpit Professional as standard.

Drivers will also receive a customised BMW Heads-Up Display (HUD) in addition to a leather M steering wheel with numerous media and driving-related controls mounted on it. The latter is a part of the M Sport package.
