The Taste Test
Most people are more familiar with a breaded fish burger, and the Texas Chicken Fish Burger is no stranger.

The fish patty is made of flaky white fish over a layer of tortilla chips, topped with a slice of cheese and a dollop of tartar sauce. It’s got a decent taste and mouthfeel, as the breaded flour batter isn’t too thick.
The shrimp burger, on the other hand, looks much more interesting topped with coleslaw, a thick slice of tomato, and tortilla chips.

The shrimp patty is thick with visible whole shrimp meat that is bouncy in the mouth. The other toppings such as the coleslaw also helps to lend a crisp, refreshing taste to the burger, and surprisingly didn’t leave the burger soggy.

Next, their sides of fish fingers and tempura prawns. The portion of these sides are rather small: you get 4 short fish fingers or 3 tempura prawns.

The fish fingers are made with thick slabs of flaky white fish meat while the tempura shrimp comes with a single whole shrimp and a thick batter.
The Verdict
The fish burger is a very decent addition to their menu: if you’re looking for a simple, basic no-frills fish burger that comes with no surprises but is satisfying all the same, this is it.
The shrimp burger, however, tried something new and delivered a surprisingly juicy and hearty experience. The addition of coleslaw was a smart touch that really rounded out the whole burger.

If you’re up for an additional side, the fish fingers definitely delivered a more satisfying crunch and meaty experience. However, both sides are priced on the high side at RM10.90 each that comes with a tub of tartar sauce.
The Fish Burger is available a la carte at RM9.25, or as a Regular or Large combo at RM12.35 or RM14.15 respectively, while the Shrimp Burger is available a la carte at RM13.90, or as a Regular or Large combo at RM17.90 or RM19.70 respectively.
