Local favourite coffeeshop Thong Kee is opening its 8th physical outlet in Taman Connaught, Cheras!
This means that Cheras residents will no longer need to order delivery from its other outlets, and get to enjoy it much closer to home.
They are famous for a wide variety of kopitiam breakfast fare such as roti bakar, soft-boiled eggs, croissants, and even savoury muffins!
Thong Kee also offers noodle dishes like laushufen, but they are probably best beloved for their ‘1+1 coffee’, which is a delightful mix of Hainan tea + coffee but different from a usual cham.
Thong Kee is an old school Hainanese favourite that originated in Bentong, Pahang. It was first established in 1988, and has since built a name and legacy for itself as a must-visit eatery.
Now, the younger generation of the Thong Kee team has boldly expanded the dream into the Klang Valley and equipped the eatery with modern convieniences to keep up with demand.
In fact, their usage of modern tech systems to optimize efficiency drew praise from netizens who were certainly not expecting this level of sophistication from an old school eatery.
Still, it only means that hungry patrons won’t have to wait longer than they need to before digging in to breakfast!
