The Dragon Ball anime series, based on the manga by Akira Toriyama depicting a thrilling adventure story about the search for the seven orbs known as the Dragon Balls used to summon a wish-granting dragon, was first broadcast in 1986.

It has amassed a huge following worldwide and UNIQLO has just announced a t-shirt collection featuring seven designs.

The designs in the UT (UNIQLO T-shirt) Dragon Ball collection cover the Son Goku Boy Arc to the Buu Arc.

This exciting UT collection allows parents and kids to enjoy coordinating their looks with their favourite scenes.

Not only will the t-shirts be sold individually, but a Complete Box edition with all the designs will also be launched nationwide on 19 June 2023.

Complete Box

The Complete Box includes a bonus augmented reality (AR) feature that makes Shenron appear, along with a set of original stickers.

It contains a set of all seven of the Dragon Ball UT designs.

Son Goku Boy Arc

The first design under this arc features an event from the boyhood of the main character, Son Goku. The print depicts the scene where Goku, a boy living on Mt. Paoz, meets Bulma for the first time, and they begin their adventure of searching for Dragon Balls.

The second design under this arc is of a scene where Son Goku and Krillin participate in the Tenkaichi Budokai for the first time after training under Kamesennin. A one-point design on the chest, the two cute figures catching a glimpse of the fierce competition, are combined with the Dragon Ball logo.

Saiyan Arc

This is a piece from the episode in which Son Goku fights the Saiyan prince Vegeta. The front of the T-shirt features the Dragon Ball Z anime title logo, while the back features the first scene in which Son Goku and Vegeta square off against each other.

This is a special print featuring Goku at the end of the battle, trying to use a Genki-dama to defeat Vegeta, who has transformed into a Great Ape.

The same design is also available in the kids’ product lineup. Have fun coordinating parent-child paired looks.

Frieza Arc

This print depicts a Dragon Ball Battle between Son Goku and his Saiyans and their bitter enemy Frieza, an emperor of the universe.

This is the first series in which Goku’s Super Saiyan, an enhanced form of Saiyan, appears in a fierce battle with Frieza.

Inspired by a three-way battle between Earth Force, Frieza, and Vegeta, a large illustration of Goku standing in front of the first form of Frieza has been printed on the front of the T-shirt, resulting in an impactful design.

Androids Arc

An episode featuring Androids 16, 17, and 18 that were developed by the former Red Ribbon Army mad scientist Dr. Gero.

The print depicts twin brother and sister Android 17 and 18, who boast overwhelming strength, and Androids 16, who has a gentle side.

Cells Arc

An episode depicting the battle between the most powerful android, Cell, and the people of earth.

The piece shows Goku and his son Gohan as they train and ready themselves to enter the Cell Games, a battle for the fate of the earth started by Cell, who has absorbed Androids 17 and 18 to become the perfect state.

The same design is also available in the kids’ product lineup.

Buu’s Arc

An episode depicting events in the world seven years after Son Goku’s heroic death in the Cell Games.

The print features the first appearance of Majin Buu, who boasts incredible strength, in his original form.
