“System Down” At Kelana Jaya Immigration Office

Denizens were left waiting in line outside the Kelana Jaya Immigration office this morning (Friday) when the department had an unexpected system failure and was unable to open and attend to patrons on time.
A staffer went on a megaphone to announce that their system was down and that they did not know how long it would take to get it back online.
He advised those who were there – some of whom have been there since 7:30 am – to either wait for the system to be back online or go to another Immigration office to attend to their affairs.
According to the Immigration Department website, the office was supposed to be open at 7:30 am, however as of 8 am, it was still closed.
Speaking to some of the people in line, the office has apparently had several system failures in the last few days.
