Walk-ins For Booster Shots Open For Adults In Klang Valley Starting Today, Says Health Minister

Walk-in booster dose vaccinations are now available for adults aged 18 years and above in four vaccination centres (PPVs) in the Klang Valley starting today (27 January), according to the Ministry of Health (MOH).
Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said in a statement that this is ito further increase the booster dose intake rate and ensure that more people in the Klang Valley get optimal immunity protection against Covid-19 including the looming Omicron variant threat.
Here’s the list of vaccination centres that are available for walk-in:
- World Trade Center, Kuala Lumpur
- Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil
- Ideal Convention Center, Shah Alam
- Soka Gakkai Hall, Klang
He said that these PPVs will administer AstraZeneca boosters but Pfizer will be available for selected individuals such as pregnant mothers and individuals who have negative reactions to the AstraZeneca vaccine.
Individuals who wish to attend the walk-in need to ensure that the digital vaccination certificate in the MySejahtera application is complete to smoothen the vaccination process.
