11,079 New Covid-19 Cases: 5-Figure Record Shocks Malaysians

The country has been struggling to keep our Covid-19 cases down, but 13 July 2021 marked the first time ever the country has hit the 5-figure mark with 11,079 new cases.
According to Health Director-General Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, the Klang Valley saw the largest number of cases.
Selangor recorded 5,263 cases while Kuala Lumpur recorded 1,521 cases.
The total number of Covid-19 cases so far is 855,949.
