[UPDATED] Covid-19: Murni Discovery Closes All Outlets Temporarily As 7 Cheras Staff Confirmed Positive

Murni Discovery has confirmed that seven staff members from their Cheras outlet have tested positive for Covid-19.
This was also verified by the Ministry of Health during the daily press briefing which named the new cluster as the “Murni Cluster”.

The restaurant chain has posted on their Facebook page advising patrons who have been at that branch in November to contact the Health Ministry immediately and get tested for Covid-19.
They’ve also said that all of their restaurants will be closed temporarily as a preventive measure and advised those who ordered deliveries to take precaution if they have symptoms.

Based on the data from the Healthy Ministry, 518 new cases have been reported yesterday in the Klang Valley with Kuala Lumpur recording 238 cases.
Cheras, which is within Kuala Lumpur, is classified as a red zone.
