The launch of myGIG was jointly officiated by Datuk Seri Reezal Merican Naina Merican and Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah.
Saifuddin said his ministry would continue to be committed to help the country’s gig economy grow.
The gig economy will stay here and it will grow exponentially, so what matters now is how we view and consider the welfare, legal, tax and other issues affecting gig economy workers. All of this is government responsibility.
