The late Adibah Noor carved a name for herself in the entertainment industry and her passing on 18 June 2022 shocked many, especially fans.

With it coming up to a year since she died due to stage 4 ovarian cancer, the last film project she worked on is now available for viewing.

Adibah, who was an English teacher broke into the scene as a singer and soon found a career in acting. While she is known for playing comedic roles, she also excelled in dramatic roles in films such as Sepet, Talentime, Mencari Rahmat and Juang.

Eraser by Mark Lee

Said to be her last film project, Eraser was in post-production when Adibah died.

Not to be confused with Arnold Schwarzenegger’s movie of the same title, this one is directed by Mark Lee See Teck and co-written with Tang Yen Yen and Siti Jasmina Ibrahim. Eraser sees Adibah playing the role of Khadijah.

It is a romantic, family drama and was expanded from a short film format of three minutes to a 94-minute feature, now available for streaming on Prime Video.

The movie carries a theme of unity, compassion, love, loyalty, respect and harmony in a bid to highlight the message that human ties do not get severed despite professing different religions.

The film starts off telling the story of a broken family. Eraser is a symbolism, taking from the object used to erase what one has written.

Adibah passed away three months after Eraser finished shooting.

It was released on Prime Video on 1 June for the South East Asian region.

Among the cast are Nam Ron, Angela Chan, Dhiya Ariffin and Alyssa Lee.
