On Twitter, @luxentX said:

I like watching tourists visiting Malaysia videos. This couple took the train to Kelantan and was overwhelmed by how nice people were to them on the train. Generally Malaysians are pretty nice to tourists (especially if you’re Caucasian).

The Bucket List Travellers

Their trip, which started in Kota Bharu, Kelantan showcases the number of stops they made and experienced while on the KTM train.

Along the way, the couple also were able to experience the culture, life, history and people of places such as Kuala Krai, Dabong, Gua Musang and Kuala Lipis Pahang.

About six minutes into the video, the couple speak about a nice man who handed out fish sate on the train and offered the couple a few.

It never ceases to amaze me how kind the people of Malaysia are. People just come up to us and start talking and having a conversation and before you know it, we were given some food and it was really nice. Just really overwhelmed by how nice Malaysian people are.

Moved to tears, Jon added that during their trip, the couple met so many friendly locals which was truly an unexpected delight.

One group of curious school children had fun practising their English with us. They didn’t want us to leave and I must have said goodbye at least three times before we got off.

When asked by his partner Jay how he felt, Jon added that he felt great especially since Malaysians have constantly managed to surprise and humble him from time to time.

People are just so lovely. Always welcoming you with open arms and giving you lots of food. I guess it’s a love language. Malaysians’ love language is giving food.
