We have been taught since young that rubbish should be thrown in dustbins. However, it seems like there are those who don’t follow this rule.
Recently the Kota Bharu Municipal Council (MPKB-BRI) shared a disappointing video which showed the garbage that was left by visitors at Pasar Parit Dalam in Kota Bharu, Kelantan.
Pengunjung, peniaga pasar pengotor, buang sampah merata-rata

PETALING JAYA – Pengotor! Itu yang dapat digambarkan keadaan sekitar Pasar Parit Dalam di Kota Bharu, Kelantan yang bersepah sampah sarap dibuang merata-rata oleh segelintir peniaga dan pengunjung di situ.

At the bottom of the video, it was stated that the Kelantanku Bersih campaign has long been implemented, with enough garbage disposal facilities provided, and many reminders were given to maintain the cleanliness of the area.
However, the end result seems to be the same and it was also stated that this was an example of the irresponsible attitude of some traders.
Netizens have also voiced out their opinions and many agreed with the statement above.
However, there are some who disagreed that it was entirely the people’s fault, alleging the local government was at fault too.
dia mcm nie tau klau koorg perasan..pernàh lepak dataran x?dekat sana petugas kebersihan ada dtg tukar plastik hitam dekat tong..tp dekat kelantan MPKB bilà letak tong sampah esok bru dtg ambik..klau xcaya ko boleh perati benda nie..org nak buang sampah dlm tong xboleh sbb penuh.

The thing is..pihak majlis tak sediakan tong sampah yang cukup utk tampung beribu pengunjung yg datang..dah tahu event besar mcm ni letak la tong sampah kat mudah orang nak buang dan pekerja am utk clear..

Whatever the situation may be, it is a basic attitude to maintain cleanliness. We do it all the time in our homes but why not when it comes to public places?
