Hong Leong Bank Introduces New Brand Ambassadors

Hong Leong Bank Berhad (HLB) recently named their new brand ambassadors, Alif Satar and Lisa Surihani. Both are well known Malaysian celebrities.

Award-winning and well-known actress Lisa Surihani has acted in a number of movies and TV shows and is devoted to giving back to society through her charitable activities.

Alif Satar is a singer, TV host, and actor who has amassed a sizable fan base on social media. He is an active participant in many community projects and a successful businessman and philanthropist.

According to Zalman Zainal, Chief Marketing and Communication Officer of HLB, as brand ambassadors, the two celebrities will assist the bank in building meaningful relationships with their clients and the larger community while promoting their goods and services.

As authentic, self-made entrepreneurs who strive to give back to the community, they also reflect the bank’s community-centric ethos, as we continue to provide financial products, services, and solutions to customers to meet their financial needs and aspirations. We truly believe that they will fully embody and represent the HLB values and present them to a wider audience.

When met at the HLB iftar programme yesterday, Lisa said she was impressed by the bank’s dedication in enabling Malaysians reach their financial goals by making banking easy and smooth, notably through their digital banking platform and inclusion programs.

She added that she liked the online resources HLB has developed on financial literacy and environmental conservation and as a mother of young children, she can use them to teach her kids the importance of setting aside money and protecting the environment.

I look forward to being part of this journey with HLB to help more people, especially young families, manage their finances and build a strong foundation for their children.

According to Alif, he is also thrilled to represent HLB in their ongoing efforts to make financial goods and services available to everyone since he has personally experienced the value of financial knowledge and entrepreneurship.

Financial literacy enables people to take charge of their financial future, and easy access to these goods and services is essential in assisting people in achieving financial freedom and enhancing their quality of life.

HLB additionally produced a Raya-themed campaign video called “Gaya Raya Kita” in conjunction with the upcoming Raya festival.

This video showcases young kids sharing their priceless memories of celebrating Raya with their loved ones, family pets, and even livestock raised by their grandparents. They also discussed how they used their duit Raya, saying that they bought toys and clothes while conserving the rest.
