Most of us adults have our own tales of how we played hooky back in the days and skip school because we had other plans with our friends or simply because we were lazy.

Most popular tactics would be resorting to fake injuries or ailments so that our parents took pity on us and allow us to skip school.

While these tactic usually works for us, not all did get away with it especially if our parents are strict.

Recently, a schoolboy who tried to skip his Al-Quran and Fardu Ain (Kafa) class, found it the hard way that simply ‘limping’ and ‘dragging’ his foot across his house does not mean that his mother would let him stay at home that afternoon.

The video of the incident which was believed to be recorded by his family member had since been uploaded to Facebook.

In the 3-minute video, the child was seen trying to fake a leg injury that he allegedly suffered after he was punished by his school teacher, which made it difficult for him to attend the KAFA class.

However, his mother reminded him that he was walking just fine when she picked him up from school earlier.

His mother also asked him whether his leg is truly hurt that he couldn’t walk properly due to the punishment.

“You sure that your leg needs to be dragged? If yes, I’ll take you to the hospital and see the doctor,” the mother said, sarcastically explaining that it could mean that his leg’s nerve system might be impaired due to his teacher’s punishment.

His mother also, in a jest, said that she would sue his teacher if it’s true that his leg is hurt so badly till he couldn’t walk properly.

However, when pressed further, the kid admitted that he just felt numbness on his leg and he can walk without an issue. He also was made to stand and demonstrate that he can walk properly, which he did so begrudgingly.

The video of the ‘interrogation’, which was shared on the social media platform yesterday, had since been viewed more than 290,000 times by netizens.

Facebook users lauded the boy’s mother for her handling of the situation, with some commenters saying that we need more parents like this to shape a better, future generation.
