A fight broke out between two men at Jalan Gasing in Petaling Jaya on Monday, 30 May, after one of them honked the car horn at another.
The viral video showed two men exchanging blows by the roadside after harsh words were exchanged.
One of the men fell but got up and continued to trade punches before falling to the ground again.
The physical fight only stopped when they decided to lodge a police report.
Petaling Jaya police chief assistant commissioner Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid confirmed that both men lodged a police report around 6.31pm on the same day.
Early investigations revealed that a misunderstanding took place between both men and triggered a fight.
The case is investigated under Section 160 of the Penal Code for committing affray (group fighting in a public place).
According to Sinar Harian, both men agreed to resolve the issue on good terms and didn’t want the further investigation to continue.
