The event, which took place at Beta KL, showcased the House’s avant-garde culture and iconic yellow colour.

The 250-year heritage was celebrated with panache, and its solaire culture expressed one of Madame Clicquot‘s convictions that each new day opens new paths to build a brighter future.

Honouring Madame Clicquot’s Legacy

Carole Bildé, Chief of Marketing and Communications at Veuve Clicquot, commented on the anniversary celebration.

She said it was more than an anniversary; an ode to joy, optimism, and the audacious resilience that began with Madame Clicquot, la grande dame of Champagne.

From Madame Clicquot’s profoundly optimistic state of mind to our iconic yellow, our link to the sun is rooted in our DNA. Our 250th anniversary embodies Veuve Clicquot’s belief that every sunrise promises endless opportunities.

Her contribution to the design of the champagne bottle we know today was driven by a desire to combine aesthetics and functionality.

The Veuve Clicquot vineyard, established from historic plots in Verzy, Verzenay, and Bouzy, has grown into one of the largest in the Champagne region.

Madame Clicquot and the next generation of vineyard directors at Veuve Clicquot were instrumental in developing the vineyard, which now spans 393 hectares and supplies the House with grapes.

The vineyard’s exceptional quality is reflected in its distribution over the best Crus in Champagne, with an average classification close to 96% based on winegrowing characteristics and grape quality.
