Hennessy X.O, the iconic cognac brand, has partnered with Kim Jones, a renowned creative director and fashion designer, to launch a limited edition collection in 2023.

The collaboration celebrates the greatness of X.O and brings together two icons of the LVMH portfolio.

The collection features three offers designed by Kim Jones: the Hennessy X.O Masterpiece, the Hennessy X.O Limited Edition, and the HNY Low by Kim Jones.

The media had a unique and immersive introduction at the Hennessy X.O & Kim Jones Gallery in Pavillion Bukit Jalil.

The gallery is a true spectacle.

Booming sounds and hidden projectors showcase visuals of robots tending to liquors of unfathomable richness.

Visitors will then be ushered into a chamber where the masterpiece is unveiled.

The Hennessy X.O Kim Jones limited edition bottle sits within a glass case, wrapped in a golden casing that pays tribute to its exclusiveness and luxury.

Beside it, you’ll find a pair of cognac-coloured HNY LOW sneakers that form its fashion counterpart.

Together, they embody the collaboration between Hennessy and global fashion designer Kim Jones – a match between cognac and couture.

The Hennessy X.O Limited Edition by Kim Jones is a reinterpretation of the classic X.O bottle that features a sleek black-and-white design with graphic lines and metallic accents.

It will be on sale worldwide in high-end distribution and experiential retail spaces, as well as in retail shops and malls.

The suggested retail price will depend on each market, generally around RM1,000 in Malaysia.

The HNY Low by Kim Jones is a luxury fashion item that combines the savoir-faire of Italian shoemaking with the bold style of streetwear.

Crafted in an LVMH-owned shoe factory in Italy, it will be released worldwide on HBX.com with select physical retailers in key markets.

The collection pays tribute to the skilful crafting of cognac and couture and celebrates the legendary blend’s heritage and vision for the future.

It is a unique celebration of the 150 years of cultural resonance of Hennessy X.O, which connoisseurs worldwide have enjoyed.

The public can join in discovering the exclusive Hennessy X.O x Kim Jones bottles at their gallery on Level 3 (Orange Zone).

How It All Started

Kim Jones was fascinated by the legacy left by generations of artisans and the strong brand codes of Hennessy.

He visited Cognac, France, where he participated in a private cognac tasting with Master Blender Renaud Fillioux de Gironde, the descendant of a long lineage of master tasters.

The visit left him with the impression of having visited family.

He was inspired to develop ideas for the Hennessy X.O Masterpiece, Hennessy X.O Limited Edition bottle, and HNY Low by Kim Jones.

For him, it is all about his approach to educating people about a brand’s culture.

Transmitting emotions through inert materials via the arts is a powerful notion to Kim.

With his Hennessy X.O Masterpiece, he wanted to express emotions from the culture it was born from, the culture of Hennessy.

It is the first time Hennessy has collaborated with a fashion designer and released a consumer-facing luxury fashion item.

It is also Kim Jones’ first foray into product design and his first collaboration with a spirit brand.
