Lotus’s Malaysia is ushering in the year of the hopeful water rabbit by bringing back the joy of the celebration through its Sama-Sama Huat (SSH) Chinese New Year campaign to reward customers with prizes worth a total of RM888,000 during the festive season!

Lotus’s Malaysia President Kenneth Chuah said that since Chinese New Year is the time for reunion, as well as, the sharing of blessings and abundance with families and loved ones, Lotus’s wants to make this festive season even more affordable to every Malaysian with their selection of CNY fresh produce, groceries, clothing, household items, and decorations all under one roof.

Customers also stand a chance to win weekly prizes online and in-store!

The Lotus’s Sama-Sama Huat campaign will take place from 26 December 2022 till 18 January 2023 at all 65 Lotus’s stores nationwide and offers customers the chance to win the grand prize of RM8,880 through its “Spin & Win” gamification programme. 

A total of 84 lucky weekly winners will be able to walk away with RM880 over the period of three weeks, while five fortunate winners will have a chance to win the grand prize of RM8,880 at the end of the contest period.

Customers participating in the Spin & Win will also win vouchers valued from RM0.50, RM1.00, RM1.80, and RM8.00 for their next purchase and receive a unique set of limited premium Ang Pow packets when they spend at least RM88 in a single checkout.

Making it even more rewarding, My Lotus’s members can also take advantage of our Baucar Ganda-Ganda, which allows shoppers to use up to 4X discount coupons (up to RM8) on their subsequent purchases with no minimum spending.

Bringing delight to neighbouring communities during the campaign month, customers can participate in a variety of activities that include photo booths, food trucks, busking performances, CNY Kids Fashion Shows, and blood donation drive, as well as marvel at stunning CNY decorations, and Lion Dance performances

Lotus’s will hold the Spin & Win gamification roadshow at 10 participating stores with a three-day appearance of the God of Prosperity!

True to its #KitakanJiran community spirit, Lotus’s will also be activating its Sama-Sama Hidup Baru community initiative in 2023 with its charity partner, Kechara Soup Kitchen.

This initiative aims to provide the homeless, displaced individuals and the urban poor with the opportunity for a new beginning through the distribution of meals and hygiene essentials, a makeover and a chance to be employed by Lotus’s.

Customers can also take part in giving others a new start in the Sama-Sama Hidup Baru initiative by donating 390 My Lotus’s points through the Lotus’s Malaysia Application. Refer to the rewards catalogue for more information.

On 15 December 2022, Lotus’s opened its 65th store at Aman Central, Kedah, and unveiled the newest addition to its digital payment platform, the TrueMoney e-wallet, giving more seamless payment solutions to its customers and expanding its Food Surplus Programme to the area.

To date, Lotus’s have channelled approximately 2,368,785 kilograms, or equivalent to more than 10 million meals of unsold but safe and edible foods to communities in need across Peninsular Malaysia.
