There’s a new gym in town, fit for those who wanna feel like a BOSS!

BOSSFit is a brand new fitness hangout in the centre of the muddy city at the Berjaya Times Square mall.

Conceptualised by the BABEL Group, the gym is a place for people to tone, sculpt and strengthen their bodies, and captivate the head honcho within themselves in a fun and entertaining manner while being draped in neon lights and BOSS vibes.

Situated on the 6th floor, the gym’s fluorescence invites you into its spacious interior housing the best equipment that your BOSS money can buy. The 16000 sqft facility comes equipped with cardio and cable tools, free weights machines, a stretch zone and even a female-only training room called the Lady Boss Training Room for gym-goers to work out with privacy and peace of mind.

BOSSFit has four classrooms that exude a theme park-like atmosphere:

  • Punishment Room: to punish those who’ve been hitting the Mamak stall a bit too hard.
  • Correctional Facility: for those looking to work on their posture and flexibility.
  • Construction Site: for those looking to build those muscles.
  • Conference Hall: for those wanting to just work out on the daily to get themselves in tip-top shape.

The gym also teaches classes focused on three BOSS-like aspirations; Slim, Flexi and Muscle.

TRP got a taste of what BOSSFit was all about, where I undoubtedly became the “new hire”, so to speak.

I hit the ground running with a course at the Punishment Room where I got to trim the fat and burn those extra Nasi Kandar calories with some punishing High-intensity Interval Training (HITT) and Total Body Resistance Exercise (TRX).

I then continued to the Conference Hall to engage in some Zumba before synergising myself with some weight lifting at the open gym.

Touching base at the Correctional Facility, I drilled down some Yoga to work on flexibility and agility before playing hardball with another round of heavy weight lifting as part of the game plan at the Construction Site.

After the grind, I was pleased to find that the gym is also equipped with a cafe, aptly named the BOSS Cafe, where gym-goers get to enjoy some refreshing drinks and a selection of healthy snacks and meals. There were also juice packs stocked up in the fridge which was definitely a strategic fit.

So if you’re looking for a new place to work out, I highly recommend BOSSFit to hit the bottom line of your fitness goals.
