Need to pick up some medication for your pet, but don’t wanna go through the trouble of sitting in a vet’s waiting room for a couple of hours?
Well, pet owners can now get all their pet supplies from Malaysia’s first pet pharmacy!
The veterinary-exclusive pharmacy at The Mall, Midvalley Southkey, Johor Bahru is the first of its kind in Malaysia and was opened by local pet food and supplies retailer Pet Lovers Centre (PLC).
With the opening of Malaysia’s first vet pharmacy exclusively for pets, PLC hopes to step up the level of pet care offered by the pet industry in Malaysia.

The pharmacy provides various brands of pet medication, dubbed ‘petceuticals’ by PLC, including those to prevent ticks and fleas, heartworm, intestinal worms as well as other pet supplements, and shampoos.
Animal lovers will also be able to get basic nutritional and medical advice from professionally trained veterinary pharmacists for your furbabies.
It seems like they’ve thought of everything pet owners need and even added flavourings, like meat, fruits, or honey to compounded medicines to make them more palatable for pets with picky appetites.
