If you’re looking to splash a little pink across your Instagram feed, there’s a beach in Johor you should head to.

The House of Dior has effectively taken over the iconic Ember Beach Club of the One&Only Desaru Coast and it looks like a scene out of the pages of a Dior catalogue.

Happening now until 6 August, the House of Dior is hosting a pop-up and Dior Café dedicated to the Dioriviera capsule collection.

As described, this “invasion” of the beach club is an “ode to the wonder of getting away, exalting the magic of the Dior dream.”

Collection: Ready To Wear, Handbags, Shoes, Accessories and Maison
Pop-Up Opening Hours: 10am – 8pm
Cafe Opening Hours: 10.30am – 10pm

To mark the occasion, the House will be transforming it into the most anticipated bewitching models that will be staged in a series of ephemeral worldwide destinations.

For this season, Maria Grazia Chiuri, the Creative Director is perpetuating the spirit of this irresistible odyssey through pieces that play with the House’s fundamentals, including the toile de Jouy reinvented in a palette of soft shades, from pink to gray, and cream to blue, evoking the delicacy of porcelain.

Named Toile de Jouy Sauvage, this variation is deployed on iconic bags, such as the Lady D-Lite and the Dior Book Tote, on the lining of the new Lady Dior Wicker, but also on scarves and Mitzahs, as well as on the Dior Silk Top, promising an audacious allure for the summer.

As an extension of this infinitely sunny wardrobe, Dior Maison creations are in turn enhanced by the same fascinating sketches.

They illuminate deckchairs, an umbrella, a surfboard, table tennis rackets and a set of boules, recalling joyful moments among friends so cherished by Christian Dior.

Exceptional settings for the pop-up, the unprecedented and spectacular decoration of which seems to be sculpted entirely in sand, with lush vegetation revealed in relief.

In the heart of this revisited jungle, the wild animals inhabiting the emblematic toile de Jouy drawings come alive as life-size works.
