Awkwafina also starred in famous movies such as Crazy Rich Asian, Ocean’s 8, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings as well as other animation movies such as The Angry Birds Movie 2 and Raya and the Last Dragon.

She’s obsessed with Roti Canai – Who isn’t?
She hasn’t revealed much about her stay in Kuala Lumpur in previous interviews except when she told Harper’s Bazaar about her favourite food city.
In their food diary video series, Awkwafina describes what her typical breakfast, lunch and dinner usually look like. She was also asked a question of what’s her favourite food city.
Besides NYC as her first choice, she also said that she enjoyed food from Kuala Lumpur.
“Aside from that, I really enjoyed the food when I went to Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, they had this dish called Hainan(ese) chicken (rice) and roti canai. I’m obsessed with it,’’ said the 34-year-old comedian. She also added that KL was indeed a cool food city to her.
KL was definitely a cool food city for me.
