The Fast Saga franchise is nearing its end after keeping fans on the edge of their seats for 22 years. The franchise recently announced on Instagram that the Fast X will be released on 10 February.

This is the final movie in the saga as stated by Vin Diesel, the producer, star and co-creator of the final trilogy of the saga back in 2015, as reported by The Guardian.

The cast of the movie includes Vin Diesel as Dominic Torretto or Dom, Michelle Rodriguez (Letty Ortiz),  Jordana Brewster (Mia Torretto), Tyrese Gibson (Roman Pearce), Jason Statham (Deckard Shaw), and Charlize Theron (Cipher).

Jason Momoa joins the franchise as the villain and Brie Larson has jumped on the bandwagon as Tess.

The Fast Saga has a history of entertaining the people for over two decades with the first move The Fast and the Furious released in 2001 with Diesel and Paul Walker as Brian O’Connor in the lead.

Since then the franchise has created many memorable memories for fans around the world.

For the car enthusiasts, this saga has been a treat to watch each time. Not forgetting the usage of the Lycan HyperSport in the movie Fast 7 where it jumped between three buildings, and with O’Connor shouting “Cars don’t fly Dom” still bringing goosebumps.

Other notable scenes were the final race in the first movie between Dom and O’Connor with the iconic 1970 Dogde Charger R/T and the 1994 Toyota Supra Mark IV, the Nissan Skyline GT-R34 jump in the first race of 2 Fast 2 Furious and the air drop of the cars in Fast 8.

More importantly the moment where Dom says, ‘Money will come and go, we know that. The most important thing in life would always be the people in this room. Right here. Right now. Salud, mi Familia.’

Just as stated in the dialogue above, a great send off was given to Walker in the ending of the Fast 7 following the actor’s death.

The news of his death in 2013 shocked fans and the cast of Fast and Furious Saga. Walker passed away from injuries sustained in a car crash in California.

The beautiful song ‘See you again’ by Wiz Khalifah and Charlie Puth was played in the background of the send off scene as Dom said, “I used to say I lived my life quarter mile at a time. And I think that’s why we were brothers. Cause you did too…….”
Still brings tears to our eyes.

However, from then onwards, the movies has been quite disappointing for fans and they expressed this through social media prior to the Fast X announcement.

Meanwhile there are still others who appear to be excited by the announcement.

Just like them, we are also eagerly waiting for the movie in May. Let’s hope the final ride will be one to remember.
