What people do in the privacy of their own home is their business, but when you’re on a highway, everyone can take a peek even without trying.

Recently, a couple was caught on camera seemingly making out in a Perodua Axia while travelling on the NKVE highway, heading towards Bukit Lanjan before the Kota Damansara exit.

The video was initially posted on TikTok with the caption, “People these days don’t have dignity anymore. Even on the road, they’re still ‘on the job’. What are you guys doing? Keep it in your pants until you arrive home.”

Although the TikTok user has taken down the video, it didn’t take long for the video to be shared on other social media sites.

Upon a closer look, it could be seen that the woman was sitting on the driver’s lap.

While it was sweet that they were all wrapped up in each other, it was still dangerous to do that while on the road.

They were lucky that they weren’t involved in any road accident that day.

Netizens were amused, although some were embarrassed to see the public display of affection.

Netizens said that the couple should be given the benefit of doubt.

They joked that the woman was trying to clear sand from the driver’s eyes and also suggested that she was giving cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

A few netizens said maybe there was a problem with the passenger’s seatbelt so that was a safety precaution.

Regardless, a few netizens also said they didn’t see anything wrong or suggestive happening.

Whatever the reasons may be, remember that it’s always better to place our safety as a priority whether we’re on the road or not.
